When deciding whether one or more cash books should be created under a certain circumstance, one has to examine its company structure and its operational needs. As a rule of thumb, following guidelines are suggested:

    • Create one cash book for EVERY REAL bank account (e.g. Savings Bank Account, Current Account, Credit Card Merchant Bank Account, etc.)

  • Multiple Subsidiary (With Multiple Branches Under Each Subsidiary)

    • Create one CASH DRAWER cash book for every branch

    • Create one CHEQUE DRAWER cash book for every branch

    • Create one PD CHEQUE DRAWER cash book for every branch

    • Create one VOUCHER/COUPON cash book for every branch

    • Create one CONTRA cash book for every branch

    • Create one cash book for EVERY REAL bank account (e.g. Savings Bank Account, Current Account, Credit Card Merchant Bank Account, etc.)

ALL CASH BOOK MUST BE ASSOCIATED TO THE CORRECT PC CENTER (THAT IS - ONE PC CENTER WILL BE CREATED FOR EACH SUBSIDIARY)
