Create Trip [MIGRATED]

  • Distribution > Delivery Management > Create Trip
  • This function enables user to arrange trip to deliver items to customer.
  • To create a trip, fill in the following details. 
    • Collection Time - the time the driver need to collect the items that are to be delivered
    • Remarks / Area - the area where the delivery is taking place
    • Trip Coordinator - the person who coordinates between the driver and the organizer
    • Trip Organizer - the person who create the trip, for example the person who make the trip arrangement
    • Trip Helper - the person who help to pack the items that need to be delivered
    • Trip Delivery Man - the driver of the trip. Click here to learn how to create a new driver.
    • Q Controller - the person who check on the quality of items.
    • Completed Trip Location (CTL) - the location of the packed items for a trip
    • Trip Completed - has the trip been completed
    • Trip Checkin Time - the time the driver arrives to pick up the items, user just need to click on it and the current time will be generated by the system automatically
    • QC Status - the state of the quality control checking
    • Vehicle Location - where is the vehicle parked
    • Trip Checkout Time - the time the driver leaves to deliver the items, user just need to click on it and the current time will be generated by the system automatically
  • Click 'Update Details'.
  • Click on 'Create Delivery Man' to add a new driver. Click here to learn more on it.


  • To add an Order to the trip for deliver, enter the Order number.
  • Enter the expected receive date and time of the Order.
  • Fill in the Transport Charges and click on 'Submit'.


  • The added order will be listed below.
  • To remove an order from the list, click on 'Remove' under the Action field.


  • Another option is to click on 'Select Order' on the top right corner.
  • Select the Delivery Date and Delivery Status. There are 5 status for selection:
    • NONE - the item that has not been given a status
    • Scheduled - the item has been arranged to be delivered
    • Transit - in the process of delivering
    • Confirmed Delivered - the item has been successfully delivered
    • Delivery Problem - the delivery is unsuccessful due to some problems, for example the recipient address is not correct
  • Click on 'Search'. The list of order will appear at the bottom.
  • Select an order, enter the Time and Charge for delivery, then click on 'Add Order' under the Action field. The system will automatically add the order to the trip.


  • Click on 'Confirm And Save' to create the trip.
  • Click 'Trip Listing' to view the delivery trip. 
  • Enter the Collection Date, the date which the customer receive the order.
  • Select a Trip Status from the drop down list:
    • All
    • Created - the trip has been scheduled
    • Partial Delivery - the delivery has not been completed
    • Completed - the trip has successfully delivered all the order
    • Closed - close a trip manually, usually the trip that has not been successfully completed
  • Enter the Staff details:
    • Trip Coordinator - the person who coordinates between the driver and the organizer
    • Trip Organizer - the person who make the trip arrangement
    • Trip Helper - the person who help the organizer packed the items that need to be delivered
    • Delivery Man - the driver of the trip
  • Enter a Vehicle Number if you want to search for trips on a specific vehicle, if not, feel free to leave it blank.
  • Click on 'Submit'. A list of the trips details and the orders on the trip will appear.
