Stock requisition is created when the user from
a branch wants to find out if another branch or headquarters has the particular
stock in place. This situation arises when the user branch ran out of stock and
needs a stock transfer from another branch. If the stock is not available,
there will be a need to issue a Purchase
Order (PO)
to the supplier to acquire more goods.
Scenario 1
Branch A wants to requisite stock from Headquarters (HQ).Thus, branch A must
create a stock requisition. Headquarters then, send the stock to branch A
through Internal
Stock Transfer.
An internal stock transfer can only be executed between 2 branches in the same
Profit and Cost Center
(PC Center).
- Trading
> Stock Requisition > Create
- Select the branch 'from' (sender) and branch 'to'
(recipient).
- Enter any remarks if required.
- Click 'Save Details'.
- Click on 'Item Code' to search for the item to be
transferred.
- Input the quantity of stock needed and any remarks. The
balance quantity of stock available in the sender's inventory will be blinking
at the bottom. You cannot request for an amount exceeding that quantity.
- Then click 'Submit'.
- The items will appear in a table below. Click 'Edit' or
'Delete' to do so.
- Click 'Save' to confirm or click 'Reset' to reset the
details and Item Code.
- Trading
> Other functions > Internal Stock Transfer > Create New Transfer
- Click 'Create New Transfer' at the
top.
- Again, select the Branch 'to' and
Branch 'From'.
- Enter 'Other Details':
- Transporter
- Reference number
- Date created
- Remarks
- Click 'Set Details'.
- In this case, the 'Item' is unnecessary.
- Under 'Actions', click on 'Stock Requisition #' to search. A
pop-up will appear as in Picture A. If the number is entered and clicked 'Submit', the pop-up
will not appear. Instead, the items will automatically loaded in line,
as shown in Picture B below.
- Choose a date range. Click 'Submit'.
- Enter a quantity. Click 'Submit' then 'Close'.

- After the transactions have appeared in a table below, click
'Confirm and Save'.
- As seen below, multiple stock requisitions can be
transferred together.

Scenario 2
Branch A wants to requisite stock from Headquarters. HQ does not have the
particular stock. So, HQ decides to order from supplier.
- Procurement
> Transactions > New Purchase Order
- Select a branch and click 'Set Branch'.
- Click 'Supplier' to search.
- Fill in the necessary blanks. Please refer New Purchase Order.
- Click on 'Stock Requisition' to search. Please see Picture A.
- A table will be displayed as below.
- Click 'Confirm and Save'.
- Click 'Edit' or 'Delete' if needed.
- This Purchase Order also supports multiple Stock
Requisitions.
Scenario 3
Branch A wants to requisite stock from HQ. But, HQ denies the Stock
Requisition.
