- Customer Loyalty > Membership Campaign > Redemption
- This function creates a campaign that enable the customer to redeem item with the membership points.
- Click 'New Campaign' to create a new reward campaign. A pop up dialog will ask 'Create a new campaign?'. Click 'OK'.
- Enter the required details:
- Code - use to sort the order of campaigns that appear in the drop down list. A campaign with a code starting with 100 will
take precedence over one beginning with 200.
- Name - name of the campaign
- Membership Criteria - the type of membership this campaign is apply to
- Everyone
- Accounts
- Cash Only
- Membercard
- Status - whether the campaign is ongoing or not. 'Active' means it is ongoing, 'Inactive' means it is not ongoing.
- Date - the duration of the campaign
- Description - additional information of the campaign
- Branch
- in which location is the campaign taking place. If the campaign is
launching in more than one branch, enter the branch code for each
branch and separate them by comma.
- Note:
Please be sure to click 'Confirm &
Save' once you have entered the details or they will not be saved.
When you have modified or added rules to the campaign, remember to click
'Confirm &
Save'
or the campaign will not be saved.
- Click 'Delete Campaign' to remove the campaign from the system.
 - Click 'Add Rules'. A new screen will pop up.
- Sequence is a code that used to sort rules. If a campaign has more than one rule, when the system is processing, it will go through the rules according to the sequence, after it finds a match, it will stop.
- If you wish to apply
the rule to a specific item code or a few item codes, you may type
in the codes separated by the "|" character. For example: BG-01|DIR-451
- If you wish to apply
the rule to a specific category, fill in the category level field in
the same manner as the item code field. For example: HDD|GIFT|SD
- To apply a rule
to all categories in a level or to all item codes, you may use ".*"
(a dot followed by an asterisk). For further information on rule patterns, please refer to Regular Expressions for Rules. Do
not under any circumstances leave this blank, or put just a "*" or just a ".". It will render the system unable to perform cash-sales!
- For
points calculation there are two modes:

Absolute - allow the customers to exchange an item with a fixed number of points. For example:
Absolute = 30. If customer has enough of points, he or she can redeem the item with the points instead of paying for it.

Ratio - allow the customers to redeem an item with the points = price*ratio. For example: Ratio = 0.2. If an item price is RM100, the customer needs 100*0.2 = 20 points to redeem.
- For
points calculation:
- Upper cap prevents the customer from using more than a specific
number of points per cashsale.
- Lower cap ensures that all customers have to use a minimum value of points
per cashsale.
- There are also two modes for cash top up:
- Absolute - customers need to pay the specified amount to purchase the item. For example: Absolute = 50, the customer needs to pay RM 50 to purchase the item regardless of the original price.
- Ratio - customers need to pay the value entered multiplied by the item price. For example: Ratio = 0.5. If an item price is RM100, the customer needs to pay RM100*0.5 = RM50 to purchase the item.
- For cash top up:
- Upper cap prevents the customer from paying more than a specific amount per cashsale.
- Lower cap ensures that all customers have to pay a minimum amount
per cashsale.
- If both the points calculations and cash top up are set, then the customer will need to exchange the item with the required points and also pay the required amount to purchase the item.
- Click 'Save & Close' to exit from the screen.
- Now you will return to the previous screen.
- The rules will be listed as shown.
- Click 'Confirm & Save'.
- Under the Action field, user can:
- Edit - make changes to the rules
- Remove - delete the rules from the campaign
- The points redemption transaction is only effective in the fullscreen cashsale.
- The amount of points needed to redeem the item will be listed in red color text when selecting item in fuzzy search.
- If both the points and cash is needed to redeem the items, both the amount required will be listed as below.
