Some times, instead of allowing the users to keying the selling price directly, some businesses may want to show the list price, and the discounts actually given to their clients. In such cases, Wavelet EMP allows the system administrator to configure the EMP to enable the users to key in discount instead of selling price directly.

The default discounts could be calculated based on discount_factor X list_price. As each customer may be entitled to different discounts, users could configure the discount factor to 0.1 if the customers enjoy 10% discounts on all items sold.
