Add Cash Account (Cash Book)[MIGRATED]

To configure Cash Account or also known as Cash Book, go to the Accounting Module and click on the Configurations option. There users can select either to Add Cash Account or to List Cash Accounts.

1.2: Adding Cash Account
  • Most importantly is to key-in the GL Code. Either click on the 'GL Code' link to go to a new search window or key-in keywords in the field and a list of corresponding matching keywords will appear in a drop down list.
  • Be sure that users have selected the right Profit & Cost Center from the drop-down menu.
  • After that, enter a Bank Code / Cash code and an Account Name for this Cash Account. Both can be the same or it can be different for further dscription. E.g Bank code / Cash Book is RHB-Credit Card and Account Name is Visa. Then users can also create another Cash Account which the Bank code / Cash Book is RHB-Credit Card but the Account Name is Master.
  • For the remaining fields, users have the option to fill them up or not.
  • Once done, click on 'Add Now' to add the Cash Account.


List Cash Books

1.3: Cash Account Listing
  • From the Configuration table, click on 'List Cash Accounts'. The whole list of previously created Cash Accounts will be listed down on the new screen.
  • If users would like to add more Cash Account, click on the 'Add Cash Account' link on the top left side.
  • By default, the list appeared is the active Cash Accounts list. If users would like to see the deleted Cash Accounts, click on the 'Show Deleted' link andd the list will change to list down the deleted Cash Accounts.
  • If users would like to edit the active Cash Account, just click on the Cash Book No. and it will bring the users to the edit page. The edit page is the same as the adding a Cash Account. Just change or add whatever necessary details and when done, click on 'Save Changes' to save it.
  • And if the users would like to delete a certain Cash Account, just click on the Cash Book No. and it will bring the users to the edit page. Then go right down to the bottom and click on 'Delete Account'
